Vintage: Miranda Lambert's (Brooch) Bouquet

Miranda Lambert married to one of my favorite country singer, the one and only Blake Shelton.

To be honest, I am not too thrill with her bouquet. But I am liking the idea of having a little surprise and something from people I care. When she has her bridal shower, each guest was asked to bring a vintage or new brooch to make her bouquet. How special !

Miranda Lambert set the new fashion trend.

If I were asked to walk down the aisle again....will I wear this brooch bouquet? Absolutely, but I want the single color one.

People on Etsy taking the bouquet idea to a new level. Each bouquet ranges from $100 - 1200. Here are some bouquets I like.

Colorful broach bouquet from Etsy seller

All these mainly white and 'sparkle' bouquets are from my favorite Etsy seller. I am in love with her bouquets.

Now I feel challenged to make one hmmmmm.

Sesame Street Lens Buddy

How awesome are these? A Lens buddy aka Shutter Buddy. My daughter loves Elmo so I make one to get her attention to look at the camera. I thought I share it with you, see if you can benefit from it. I made Elmo out of felt but I had the crochet version too. They are stretchable to fit most SLR lenses.

Who doesn't know Elmo from Sesame Street?

Chinese New Year {FUN giveaway}

This year Chines New Year is going to be special coz. it's the year of the Dragon (water dragon to be specific). Due to the character of the people born under the Dragon which are passionate, brave and self-assured, many couple planned to have their baby delivered this year on January 23 and after.

I made couple things that can be fun to bring to Chinese New Year gathering or as a gift to a newborn. Don't laugh at my model :P

It supposed to be a Dragon hat for girl and boy. The girl Dragon hat will have orange bows instead of the spikes.

Meet my model. I adopted him from Goodwill. Went there twice and he was still there, screaming to me: Take me homeeeee. I couldn't resist, he is too cute.

I made this 3 straps adjustable headband. The poppies can be moved along their straps. Ties in the back and have a button at the end for maximum stretch. Fit babies up to 2 years old. If you are interested, visit my etsy.
